Virtual Option
Want to participate but can't make it in person? No problem! Registrants can participate virtually asynchronously*. Most educational sessions are pre-recorded and available for viewing at the conclusion of the conference for viewing at your convenience for up to 6 weeks after the event. An email with the recorded sessions and evaluation is typically emailed 1-2 weeks following the event. Please note: The Comprehensive Courses and Skills Labs will be offered in-person only. It will not be available virtually.
*Please note that virtual-only participants will not receive live recordings from Congress. Sessions will be pre-recorded with speakers and PowerPoint slides. Virtual content will not include social events such as the Opening Ceremonies, President's Reception, Poster Reception, etc. SOHN will make every effort to provide virtual attendees access to all podium presentations, however circumstances beyond our control may prevent some in-person presentations from being available in the virtual library.
Accreditation
SOHN is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Criteria for the awarding of contact hours is based on 60 minutes per contact hour. Contact hours are awarded based on attendance and completion of an evaluation form at the end of the presentation(s). Evaluations must be completed upon completion of the program to obtain Continuing Education Contact Hours and certificate of completion. The formal certificate will be e-mailed to you by our National Headquarters.
